The Hard Way

Diva closed in fast on Dark Star. She wasn't familiar with this villain but judging by her looks she didn't expect her to be a match for her strength. Spearing her at this speed should finish should finish her off right away Diva thought but never got the chance as powerful blonde delivers an energy blast directly into the young powerhouse's face. Even with all the momentum she had built Diva is sent flying backwards and the energy waves continued to crash into her body.

Dark Star's energy pounding continued for most of a minute amazed that her attacker's body had yet to display physical damage yet the pain could be seen on her face. Suddenly the attacks lose effectiveness, almost as though the rays of energy stop before reaching her. The silver haired Diva launched toward Dark Star seemingly immune to the villains offense. She grabs the surprised Dark Star by the ankle and throws her.

The toss seemed laughable to Dark Star until she slammed hard into some invisible barrier. Though the impact stunned her a bit it reminded her of the bright light that had passed her by. Time to even the numbers she thought as the pink clad woman charges for another attack. Entering her phase shift state she allows the woman to advance upon her without resistance. Diva throws a punch she expects that will finish her opponent only to watch her fist pass right through Dark Star. The villainess smiles while passing her intangible hand through Diva's chest "Gotcha".

A fiery sensation fills Diva's lungs intensified with every breath. The pain overcomes the young woman, she loses consciousness and begins the long fall to the earth below.
